Every stitch, a story…

Since the early 19th Century, leather working has been an important trade in Walsall, with the development of the town’s leatherworking industry gaining pace throughout the peak British Empire years, exporting equestrian wares globally.

Since then, the range of manufacturers in the area has dwindled, but Beorma founders have worked tirelessly to keep the tradition alive. Hand-sourcing the finest materials and highest grades of leather from the finest tanneries in the world, coupled with the talent of local craftspeople, has always been at the heart of the enterprise.

Our Story

Today, Beorma Leather Company produces an exclusive range of the finest leather fashion accessories for ladies and gentlemen, from small leather goods such as wallets, to hand plaited belts and bags. Beorma products are handmade in England with the highest level of skill and attention to detail, ensuring that they last the test of time and each piece has its own unique character.

Our Leather

At Beorma Leather Company, we pride ourselves on crafting exceptional leather goods using only the finest materials sourced from the best tanneries around the world. Our commitment to quality and sustainability is at the core of everything we do.

We believe in working with tanneries that share our values, prioritising ethical practices and environmental responsibility. We carefully select our leathers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and durability, while also minimising our impact on the planet.

Tradition

Walsall is renowned as a hub of leather craftsmanship, with a legacy that dates back to the middle ages. Over the years, our town has earned a reputation for producing some of the finest leather products in the world and is known as the centre of England’s saddlery trade. The expertise and skill passed down through generations has shaped the artisans who proudly continue this time-honoured tradition.

Sustainability

Sustainability is the driving force behind everything we do. We carefully select the finest leathers sourced from tanneries that share our values of environmental stewardship and ethical practices. By choosing high-quality materials produced with minimal impact on the planet, we ensure that our products not only stand the test of time but also contribute to a more sustainable future. Beyond our dedication to sustainability, we take great pride in fostering an exciting and welcoming work culture.

Belt Sizes

Did you know? For men, your actual waist size can be anything up to 4 inches larger than the trouser size you buy.

For the best fit, we recommend you measure your waist through your trouser loops or measure an old belt from the turn of the buckle to the hole you currently use, and then order a belt to fit that size.
